because sometimes you just can't get that thing free
It is a common problem...despite your best efforts you have lost the key to your lock, or alternatively the salty sea air has taken it's toll on the mechanism and you can no longer open it. If you can, try some WD40 or similar and spray it into the lock barrel and give it a few hours to work, you might get lucky
Failing that you could call a locksmith to cut your lock but you could be looking at a small fortune

We will attend your bicycle with you present, you'll need photographic ID which we can take a picutre of for our records, and remove the lock for a simple £35 within the city of Brighton & Hove (and beyond by prior arrangement). You can pay this in cash on removal or by bank transfer in advance of removal
